De DORMER E282 is een Gasdraad (M) machinetap in HSS-E PM met rechte spaangroeven. Hierdoor te gebruiken voor zowel blinde als doorlopende gaten. De doorvallende schacht zorgt ervoor dat deze door het draadgat past. Bouwmaten volgens DIN5156. De maximale draaddiepte is 1,5xD. De aansnijding is naar vorm C (2-3 gangen) maar is natuurlijk ook leverbaar met extra lange aansnijding naar vorm A (6-8 gangen). Hierdoor is deze ook te gebruiken als hand tap.
