Dit uitbreidingskaart is bedoeld voor het aansluiten van interne NVMe-opslag op een desktop-pc via een PCI Express-slot. De kaart wordt geplaatst in een vrij PCI Express x4-slot en biedt één interne M.2 NVMe-aansluiting en één interne SFF-8643-aansluiting voor NVMe-opslag. Via de M.2-slot kunnen NVMe-modules in de formaten 2230, 2242, 2260 en 2280 worden geplaatst. Alternatief kan via de SFF-8643-aansluiting een NVMe-oplossing met U.2-interface worden aangesloten. Per kaart kan één interface tegelijk worden gebruikt. De kaart ondersteunt NVM Express (NVMe) en wordt gevoed via de PCI Express-interface. Daarnaast is ondersteuning aanwezig voor opstarten vanaf de M.2-slot bij gebruik van een compatibele UEFI-omgeving. Beveiligingsvoorzieningen zoals kortsluit- en oververhittingsbeveiliging zijn geïntegreerd.
