Deze USB 2.0 Micro-B installatiekabel is bedoeld voor het verlengen en verplaatsen van een USB Micro-B aansluiting naar een vast en goed bereikbaar montagepunt. De kabel heeft aan één zijde een USB 2.0 Micro-B female aansluiting met moeren voor paneelbevestiging en aan de andere zijde een USB 2.0 Micro-B male stekker. De female aansluiting kan met twee schroeven worden gemonteerd in bijvoorbeeld een behuizing, kabelgoot of sleufplaat. Hierdoor kan een USB-aansluiting permanent op een vaste positie worden geplaatst. De kabel ondersteunt USB 2.0 datasnelheden tot 480 Mbps.
