Product description
DeWit schep gesmeed van boronstaal met een bladdikte van 2mm. Het blad van een DeWit schep is gesneden middels fiberlaser techniek en verhit tot 1200 graden Celsius middels inductieovens. Eenmaal op temperatuur wordt het blad gesmeed en de dul op stand gezet en vervolgens gehard. Tijdens de afwerking wordt de schep altijd extra scherp geslepen en voorzien van een watergedragen blanke lak. Iedere DeWit schep wordt voorzien van een essen steel die in Nederland is geproduceerd. Het hilt op de steel is gemaakt met een platte pen verbinding die niet is doorgestoken waardoor het hilt fijner aanvoelt bij gebruik. De schep heeft een geheel gebogen (3/4) dulstand die 55mm gebogen is en daardoor het meest geschikt is als opschepper in de tuin, bestrating en infra wekzaamheden. De type aanduiding van 000 op het blad betekent dat de afmeting van het blad 255x210mm is. Het Drents model schep, schop of bats is de aanduiding van de vlakke rand die aan de buitenzijde van het blad zit, met een vlakke rand steek je met minder weerstand de schep in de grond of in het zand.
