Als u van winterknitwear houdt, bent uw dol op Melbourne wol – dankzij het uitstekende isolerende vermogen is het perfect voor warme, zelfgebreide kleding. Het afgewerkte breiwerk is met de hand wasbaar op 30 graden Celsius. Wanneer de wol in de wasmachine wordt gewassen, wordt hij extra dicht en sterk, wat hem ideaal maakt om te vilten. Brei wollen truien, sjaals, mutsen en wanten – of maak uw eigen pantoffels door de wol in de wasmachine te vilten:. Stel de wasmachine in op 40 graden Celsius en voeg wat zeepvlokken en een paar handdoeken toe. Dit zorgt voor meer wrijving en levert een effectiever viltproces op. Gebruik een waszak van mesh of een kussensloop bij het vullen om uw wasmachine te beschermen. Hoe warmer het water, des te meer de wol zal krimpen/vilten.
