Filterbollen zijn het nieuwe filtermedium voor zandfilterpompen. Ze zijn praktisch en lichtgewicht, waardoor ze een veel handiger alternatief zijn voor filterzand. Met slechts 500 g filterbollen krijg je dezelfde filtercapaciteit als met 18 kg filterzand! Het reinigen van de filterbollen is eenvoudig en kan worden gedaan via een backwash op de filterpomp of met een simpele handwas. Bovendien gaan de filterbollen jarenlang mee, omdat je jaarlijks slechts 10 à 20% hoeft te vervangen.
- Filterbollen zijn gemaakt van polyester (PET) en zijn niet-toxisch en 100% recyclebaar.
- De diameter van een filterbolletje is ongeveer 5 cm.
- Door de unieke structuur van de filterbollen stroomt het zwembadwater gemakkelijker door dan door een zandbed, wat resulteert in minimaal drukverlies van de pomp.
- Het gebruik van filterbollen is energiebesparend.
