Een vrolijke heruitgave voor de Kinderboekenweek: Worden wat je wil. Lotje wil violiste worden, dat voelt ze tot in haar tenen. Maar helaas komt wat ze voelt niet uit haar vingers. Als ze begint te spelen maken de dieren dat ze wegkomen, slaan alle mensen hun ramen dicht en trekken de bloemen zich van schrik terug in de grond. Lotje kan er niks van ook al doet ze nog zo haar best om zich aan de regels van juf Krabbenbak te houden. Maar dan komt ze een man met een woonwagen tegen die haar een viool geeft. Hij zegt dat ze zich niets van alle regels aan moet trekken. En als Lotje de snaren van de viool bestrijkt, klinkt het precies zoals ze het voelt. Prachtig. Betoverend. Zo mooi dat ze ervan begint te zweven. Letterlijk! Maar juf Krabbenbak wil dat ze weer volgens de regels gaat spelen. Wat nu?
