Roz is een robot die na een storm aanspoelt op een eiland dat alleen door dieren wordt bewoond. Ze ontfermt zich over een jong gansje dat Roz als diens moeder ziet, en sluit vriendschap met de andere dieren. Van hen leert de robot hoe ze zich in het wild kan redden.
Roz veroverde al heel veel lezersharten en ook die van filmmakers in Hollywood. Dit najaar gaat een grote animatiefilm in première waarin de wilde robot zal schitteren in de hoofdrol.
