De Byomic junior telescoop 70/300 is een compacte refractortelescoop die binnen enkele minuten is op te zetten. Het enige wat de beginnende astronoom hoeft te doen is de oculair houder te monteren en één van de twee oculairen te kiezen. De zoeker dient met twee schroefjes te worden vastgezet en dan kan de telescoop op het statief worden geplaatst. De telescoop wordt op het statief vastgezet met twee schroeven welke eenvoudig met de hand zijn vast te draaien. Verder dient de hendel in het statief te worden gedraaid voor stabiliteit. Daarna is de telescoop klaar voor gebruik!
