Schwalbe Marathon Plus SmartGuard buitenband is een unieke band die zichzelf "onplatbaar" mag noemen vanwege zijn dikke anti-leklaag. Zelfs punaises kunnen deze band niet lek krijgen. De band is lichter dan ooit en gaat lang mee dankzij de "Anti-Aging" zijwanden. Hij is geschikt voor stadsfietsen, elektrische fietsen en snelle e-bikes. De band heeft een inch maat van 28 x 1.10, een ETRTO maat van 28-622 en een Franse maat van 700 x 28C. Het is een draadband gemaakt van rubber, in de kleur zwart. De band weegt 750 gram en heeft reflectie. De bandenspanning varieert van 5.50 - 7.50 Bar (80 - 110 PSI) en hij kan maximaal belast worden tot 85 kg.
