"De Big Apple is een comfortabele fietsband die tien jaar geleden de trend van de balloonbike heeft ingeluid. Met deze band kun je comfortabel fietsen zonder kostbare veertechnieken. De luchtkussen banden fungeren als natuurlijke vering, waardoor je een volledige veerwerking hebt. Met een druk van ca. 2 bar rolt de balloonbike wonderbaarlijk licht. De Big Apple heeft een breedte van 37 mm, wat vergelijkbaar is met een normale band. Echter, een normale band moet tot wel 4 bar keihard opgepompt worden om even goed te rollen. Met de Big Apple heb je dus hetzelfde rolgemak zonder de harde druk. Deze buitenband is geschikt voor mountainbikes en heeft een netto gewicht van 740 gram. De maximale druk is 70 PSI (5 bar).
