Deze elektrische muizen en rattenval geeft onmiddellijk een dodelijke elektrische schok aan de muis of rat zodra deze de val binnenloopt. Daarna volgt onmiddellijk een tweede schok om er zeker van te zijn dat het dier gedood wordt. Hierdoor is geen gif nodig. De val beschikt over een voederplek om lokaas neer te leggen zodat dat de muis of rat niet van het aas kan eten zonder dat deze de val niet laat afgaan. Bovenop de val zit een indicatielampje om makkelijk te zien of er een vangst is (lampje gaat constant rood branden). De val werkt of op 4 D batterijen (niet meegeleverd) of een adapter ( niet meegeleverd )
