De Boya BY-P140 heeft een binnendiameter van 1,9 tot 2,3 cm en een binnendiepte van 14 cm. Hierdoor past de windkap op verschillende microfoons met vergelijkbare afmetingen. Je schuift de windkap eenvoudig over de microfoon voor extra bescherming tegen wind en andere luchtbewegingen.
