De Boya BY-MM1 Pro is een professionele Shotgun Richtmicrofoon van Boya. Met twee microfoons kan geluid van zowel de voor- als de achterkant worden opgenomen, waardoor zowel de interviewer als de geïnterviewde kunnen worden opgenomen zonder de microfoon te bewegen. De Boya BY-MM1 Pro wordt geleverd met een Rycote Lyre-schokbevestiging om ongewenste trillingen en geluidsoverlast te verminderen.

De BY-MM1 Pro werkt met alle audio / video-opnameapparaten. Met de schakelaar kan geschakeld worden tussen TRS (camera's, camcorders, pc's en andere opnameapparaten) en TRRS (smartphones en tablets). Er is een extra 3.5 mm poort aanwezig waarop u een koptelefoon kunt aansluiten, om zo achteraf de opnames terug te kunnen luisteren wanneer u ze afspeelt.
