Ideaal voor instrumentatie en telecommunicatieapparatuur. Gegoten in stootvast ABS, brandvertragend volgens de specificaties van de norm UL94-VO. Het ontwerp van deze en bestaat uit twee delen met een tand-en-groef verbinding tussen het bovenste en onderste deel. De speciaal ontworpen eindplaten bestaan uit identiek materiaal. Dit soort ontwerp is uitgerust met een stof- en spatwaterbestendige dichting volgens IP54 van IEC529. De afwerking gebeurt volgens de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen : het oppervlak van het bovenste en onderste deel is krasbestendig en is uitgevoerd in een licht reliëf. PCB's kunnen ofwel verticaal worden gemonteerd met behulp van sleuven, ofwel horizontaal d.m.v. studs.
