Vervolgens druk je het aapje op de pin in het midde van de bananenboom vast. De speler die het hoogste kan springen, mag beginnen. tijdens de beurt gooit de speler de dobbelsteen en doet wat erop staat: Of 1 banaan pakken en voor je neerleggen, 2 bananen pakken en voor je neerleggen, een banaan aan iemand willekeurig geven of een banaan stelen van iemand anders. Maar pas op, want het aapje kan zomaar opspringen! Wanneer het aapje in de lucht springt, moeten alle spelers het proberen te vangen voordat het de grond raakt.
