Dit apparaatsnoer met IEC C13-aansluiting is bedoeld voor het aansluiten van elektrische apparaten met een C14-inlet op een stopcontact van type I, zoals gebruikt in Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en China. Het snoer wordt gebruikt voor pc’s, monitoren, servers, UPS-systemen en andere IT- en kantoorapparatuur. Het snoer is uitgevoerd met een Type I male stekker (AS/NZS 3112, geaard) aan de netzijde en een IEC 60320 C13 female connector aan de apparaatzijde. De C13-aansluiting is geschikt voor geaarde apparaten met een gemiddeld vermogen en wordt veel toegepast bij professionele apparatuur. Dit is een volledig spanningsdoorlatend netsnoer. Het snoer past uitsluitend de stekkerstandaard aan en zet geen spanning om.
