Deze SMA stekker van Goobay is bedoeld voor het monteren op RG-174U coaxkabels binnen radiofrequentietoepassingen. Door de uitvoering als krimpconnector is deze stekker geschikt voor situaties waarin een vaste en reproduceerbare coaxverbinding vereist is. De stekker is uitgevoerd als SMA male connector en heeft een 50 ohm impedantie. Hierdoor is deze geschikt voor gebruik met antennes, RF-modules, meetapparatuur en draadloze communicatiesystemen. De uitvoering met vergulde contacten en een metalen behuizing is geschikt voor toepassingen waarbij een stabiele signaaloverdracht en mechanische bevestiging van belang zijn.
