De DIGITUS Gigabit PoE splitter levert data en stroom via één netwerkkabel aan apparaten die niet via Ethernet van stroom kunnen worden voorzien. Sluit de ingangzijde van de splitter aan op een PoE-schakelaar of op een PoE-injector en sluit de uitgangzijde aan op een netwerkapparaat zonder PoE-ondersteuning, bijvoorbeeld een toegangspunt, een IP-telefoon of een IP-camera, om stroom en data over te dragen. De splitter wordt via PoE (Power over Ethernet) van stroom voorzien. U hebt daardoor geen extra stroomkabel nodig en u kunt het apparaat ook gebruiken op plaatsen zonder elektriciteit of stopcontact. De uitgangspanning kan met DIP-schakelaars worden ingesteld op 5V, 9V of 12V. Voor de splitter is geen configuratie nodig, zodat een snelle en naadloze integratie in het netwerk is gegarandeerd.
