Deze afsluitweerstand is bedoeld voor het afsluiten van ongebruikte coax aansluitingen binnen antenne- en satelliet installaties. Door een ongebruikte uitgang af te sluiten met een 75 ohm afsluitweerstand wordt reflectie van signalen voorkomen en blijft het coax netwerk stabiel functioneren. De afsluitweerstand wordt toegepast bij bijvoorbeeld antennedozen, splitters, versterkers of andere coax componenten waar een aansluiting niet wordt gebruikt. Hierdoor kunnen storingen of signaalverlies in het netwerk worden beperkt. De behuizing is gemaakt van zink met een vernikkeld contact. De uitvoering met klemtechniek maakt het mogelijk om de afsluitweerstand eenvoudig te plaatsen op een antenne aansluiting.
