In motorvoertuigen is het dankzij het lichte Verven bijzonder geschikt voor het beschermen van plooien op de motorkap en in de kofferruimte. Opmerking: Na het drogen blijft er een stevig hechtende, plastisch taaie en waterafstotende film achter. Het vloeipunt van de droge substantie ligt boven 100 °C, dus er is geen risico op weglopen of druppelen, zelfs niet in de motorruimte.
