Pattex Gold Gel verlijmt zowel gladde als poreuze materialen zoals: kunststoffen (PVC, ABS, polystyreen), metaal, porselein, hout, kurk, leder, keramiek, karton, papier en rubber. Niet geschikt voor fotos, autoruiten, polyethyleen, polypropyleen, teflon, styropor (piepschuim), Nylon en synthetische weefsels. Bij plexiglas is er kans op vlekvorming.
