Bij de nieuwe metallic look varianten kan de kleur van de afdekkap worden afgestemd op de fittingen van aluminium of roestvrij staal en kan de Cabineo-verbinder een designelement in het meubel worden. Er zijn nu verschillende manieren om de verbinder visueel in het werkstuk toe te passen: zonder afdekkap, met afdekkap in bijpassende kleur (zodat de Cabineo minder opvallend is) of met de afdekkap in de nieuwe metallic look om een visueel accent aan te brengen.
