Vuil en afzettingen in het binnenste lager van de ketting worden losgemaakt en uitgespoeld. De buitenkant van de ketting, aandrijving & tandwiel en versnellingen worden ook reiniger. Hoewel de kettingreiniger centraal staat, blijft er na verdamping van de actieve wasstoffen (6-8 uur) een dunne, bijna droge en niet-kleverige smeerfilm op en in de ketting achter. Dit resulteert in een extreem lage vuilaanhechting. De goede oppervlaktehechting zorgt voor een uitstekende corrosiebescherming. De kettingvloeistof is volledig synthetisch, waardoor een aanzienlijk hoger smeervermogen wordt bereikt dan bij minerale olieproducten.
