Krimp-/steekconnector met krimpisolatie (Duraseal) Heeft een kleefstoffen, krimpbare nylon kap die kan worden gebruikt om een waterdichte verbinder te maken tussen de leiding en de Contacten. De nylon kap wordt verwarmd tot 135 °C met bijvoorbeeld een Heteluchtpistool en het kapmateriaal wordt bij deze temperatuur om de leiding gewikkeld.
