De boorsets zijn uitermate geschikt voor het boren van gaten in hard en zacht hout, en gelijmde en gecoate platen evenals in vele andere houtsoorten zoals MDF. Dankzij de productie van bestendig hogesnelheidsstaal hebben de boren een zeer lange levensduur, zelfs na vele booroperaties. De geslepen spiraal zorgt voor een soepele spaanuitstoot.
