Magnetfeldprüfer, Detektor Mit diesem Detektor kann ganz einfach überprüft werden welches elektromagnetische Bauteil (Aktor) defekt ist. Geprüft werden können u.a. Zündspule (herkömmliche, Doppelfunkenzündspule, Einfunkenzündspule), Lichtmaschine, Innenraumgebläse, Duoventil (für Heizung, Kühlwasser), Ventil für AGR-Steuerung (Ventil für Abgasregulierung), Injektoren (Einspritzdüsen), Zündkerze, Hallgeber und Relais. Der Detektor wird über das zu prüfende elektrische Bauteil gehalten. Ein akustisches Signal und leuchtende LEDs zeigen die Funktionsfähigkeit des Bauteils an. Die Spitze des Detektors hat zwei Seiten. Beide Seiten "Karo" und "Kreis" haben unterschiedliche Empfindlichkeiten, die abhängig von der Art des Aktors sind. Um ein exaktes Ergebnis zu erhalten muss die Detektorspitze über den gespulten Bereich des elektronischen Bauteils gehalten werden. Zusätzlich hat der Detektor einen Powerschalter.
