Talens Art Creation wateroplosbare oliepastels zijn zachte, vette pastels die makkelijk te mengen en aan te brengen zijn, net als gewone oliepastels. Het verschil is echter dat je deze pastels met water kunt vermengen om nog zachtere kleurovergangen te maken en de intense kleuren iets transparanter kunt maken voor een aquareleffect.
Breng water aan op (delen van) je papier met een nat penseel, maak de pastels nat voordat je ze aanbrengt of gebruik een nat penseel om kleur van de pastel af te halen en op je papier aan te brengen. Creëer egale kleuren door de textuur van je aangebrachte droge oliepastelstreken glad te maken met een nat penseel voor streeploze kleurvermengingen en -overgangen.
