Deze 3 penselen van polyester en ponyhaar kunnen veel water opnemen, waardoor ze geschikt zijn voor verdunde verfsoorten, zoals aquarelverf en inkt. De set bevat de volgende soorten en maten: 3 ronde penselen in maat 4, 6 en 8.
Filamentpenselen bestaan uit synthetische vezels (polyester) en zijn geschikt voor alle verfsoorten. Door de stevigheid en veerkracht van polyester zijn filamentpenselen uitermate geschikt voor olie- en acrylverf. Omdat filamentpenselen veel vocht opnemen, zijn ze ook geschikt voor aquarelverf en gouache.
Ponyhaar is een betaalbaar, zacht haartype dat veel water opneemt. Penselen van ponyhaar zijn daarvoor uitermate geschikt voor aquarelverf en gouache.
