Featuring a semi-integrated design, the XLC A-Head Int Headset HS-I11-1 is suitable for bikes with a tapered steerer tube (1 1/8 – 1.5”). A-Head systems offer advantages in terms of weight and material option thanks to the lack of thickness of the material needed. Tapered steerers are popular on many types of frame today, including mountain and road. Semi cartridge bearings are used for superior smooth steering. Cartridge bearings allow for a reduction in servicing needed to keep your headset running smooth. If they need replacing you simply replace the single unit rather than individual ball bearings. The dimensions of the HS-I11-1 are 28.6/44-56/39.8mm and the height is 21.2mm.XLC have used aluminium for the construction of the HS-I11-1 due to its sturdiness and lightweight composition. Are the bicycles I order delivered ready to ride?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have your bike delivered fully ready to ride. We deliver our bikes 85% assembled. Components such as the front wheel, pedals, saddle and handlebar still need to be mounted. With the included assembly manual and instruction videos, you can easily do this yourself. Small children's bikes are generally delivered 95% assembled.
