De nieuwe generatie PZERO Race TLR is de best presterende raceband van Pirelli en is ook de eerste band met een tubeless-technologie die volledig in Italië is gemaakt. De introductie van de nieuwe SPEEDCORE-technologie in het 120tpi-karkas omvat het gebruik van een laag compound gemengd met aramide die de binnenste laag van de band bedekt, waardoor de gladheid en de weerstand van het rubber worden verbeterd. Resultaat: een minder stijve maar snellere band. De compound daarentegen behoudt dezelfde geavanceerde SmartEVO-technologie, die wordt gedeeld met de andere high-performance banden in het PZERO-assortiment.
