De Schwalbe Marathon 28" buitenband is een klassieker en de oervader van alle hoogwaardige tourbanden. Deze band is geschikt voor E-bikes (E25) en is getest en goedgekeurd voor E-bikes tot 50 km/u (E50). De Marathon heeft een GreenGuard puncture protection laag van 3 mm dik, gemaakt van extreem elastisch natuurlijk rubber, waarvan 1/3 gerecyclede latexproducten zijn. Hierdoor is de band bestand tegen overbelasting en scheurtjes. De zijwand van de band is voorzien van Anti-Aging technologie, waardoor deze langer meegaat bij een te lage bandenspanning. De band heeft een bandenmaat van 28x1.50 inch (ETRTO 40-622) en een breedte van 40 mm. De maximale druk is 85 PSI (6 Bar). De Marathon is uitgerust met het Endurance compound en heeft een TwinSkin skin. De band heeft een HS420 profiel en is geschikt als buitenband.
