Hoewel hij het schip minder dan een jaar gebruikte, was het een effectief instrument in zijn Inlet en werd het schip vernietigd. Eind 1996 ontdekte Intersal, de particuliere aannemer die voor de staat North Carlina werkte aan herstel op zee, de overblijfselen van een schip dat waarschijnlijk de Queen Anna's Revenge zou zijn.
