Er is een Holstein kalfje geboren op de boerderij! Het duurt niet lang voor hij, nog wel heel wankel, op probeert te staan en zijn eerste onhandige stappen loopt. Het kalfje loopt dan naar zijn moeder om melk te drinken. Na slechts een paar dagen rent hij al vrolijk door de wei en speelt het kalf met andere kalveren. Hij drinkt zes tot twaalf maanden bij zijn moeder en begint na een paar weken ook al gras en hooi te eten, al kan hij het dan nog niet zo goed verteren. Elk holstein kalf is een aanwinst voor je boerderij, want als ze ouder zijn kunnen ze melk geven! Welke stal maak jij vrij?
