Product description

De Pro-tect Flint is een 90 cm lang kettingslot met het ART 1 keurmerk. Dit ART 1 keurmerk maakt de Flint bij uitstek geschikt als tweede slot voor duurdere fietsen, zoals bakfietsen en E-bikes. Met een gewicht van slechts 1235 gram, biedt de Flint maximale veiligheid tegen minimale last. Daarnaast zijn de schakels van het kettingslot voorzien van een zachte textielhoes om lakschade aan het frame te voorkomen. Verder heeft de slotkop een verschuifbaar afdekkapje welke er voor zorgt dat er geen vuil en vocht in de cilinder terecht komt.

Het ART 1 sterkte (veiligheids)niveau is vergelijkbaar met de Europese norm voor fietssloten EN 15496. Vanuit (Nederlandse) fietsdiefstalverzekeraars wordt een ART 1 goedgekeurd slot dan ook gezien als minimaal beveiligingsniveau waarmee een E-bike of bakfiets aan de vaste wereld moet worden vergrendeld, wanneer er een extra (2de) wordt geëist.
