In een klein stadje in Oregon, verschijnen mysterieuze graancirkels in de graanvelden van Joe Vossimer. Samen met vijf studievrienden en de lokale Sheriff Willingham stuit Joe's neef Layne op de buitenssrdse ontwerpen. Ongewild laten ze een ondoorgrondelijke kwaad vrij dat geen grenzen kent. De hechte vriendengroep probeert wanhopig te ontsnappen aan de bloedstollende razervij van hun ontdekkingen totdat ze zich realiseren dat de cirkels niet slechts onschuldige tekens zijn, masar dodelijke 'Warnings'!
