Het vouwslot is opvouwbaar, waardoor het bijna geen ruimte inneemt. De schakels van het slot zijn gemaakt van 5 mm gehard staal, waardoor het moeilijk open te breken is. Het Abus vouwslot wordt geleverd met een houder, zodat je het gemakkelijk kunt meenemen tijdens het fietsen.
