De besproeiingsautomaat WT 5 biedt vier modi: automatische bewatering, handmatige bewatering, countdown-bewatering en 24-uurs pauzefunctie. Bij automatische bewatering sproeit de WT 5 geheel naar wens op de geprogrammeerde tijden en met de vooraf ingestelde bewateringsduur. Het besproeiingsprogramma kan elke dag van de week worden geactiveerd en biedt maximum twee cycli per dag ('s ochtends en/of 's avonds). Maximale bewateringsduur: 120 minuten. De handmatige besproeiingsfunctie kan op elk moment worden geactiveerd. Bij de countdown-functie sproeit de WT 5 een bepaalde tijd en beëindigt hij de besproeiing na afloop automatisch. De 24-uurs pauzefunctie geeft de gebruiker een onderbreking van het automatische besproeiingsprogramma voor maximaal 24 uur en kan voor het einde van de 24 uur op elk moment weer worden gedeactiveerd. Kraanaansluiting en voorfilter worden meegeleverd, de vereiste 9V-batterij (blok) niet.
