De bron van de vervuiling dient vooraf zoveel mogelijk verwijderd te worden. Spray daarna het te reinigen oppervlak ruim in met HG alle nare geurtjes weg. Het is belangrijk dat het product op de stankbron wordt aangebracht om de stank te verwijderen. De nare geur verdwijnt, afhankelijk van de porositeit, tussen de 20 minuten en enige uren. Wanneer het behandelde oppervlak droog is, is de vieze geur ook verdwenen.
