Leg alle houten speelstenen omgekeerd op tafel en meng ze door elkaar. Doe dan je ogen dicht, pak 1 van de stenen, draai deze om en betast zorgvuldig het oppervlak. Probeer te onthouden wat je gevoeld hebt en leg de steen even opzij. Zoek nu op de tast en met gesloten ogen op het speelbord het veld met hetzelfde oppervlak. Als je een veld hebt gekozen, zet je op die plaats je speelsteen op het speelbord. Doe nu je ogen open! Komen de oppervlakken overeen? Zo ja, dan mag je de speelsteen houden. Zo niet, dan moet je de speelsteen weer terug leggen, wordt alles weer opnieuw gemengd en is de volgende speler aan de beurt.
