De van 4,5 liters is een bodembedekking voor terraria waarin een hoge luchtvochtigheid gewenst is, zoals sommige hagedissen of slangen. Dit natuurlijke, organische product zet door de toevoeging van water uit tot het vier- of vijfvoudige van zichzelf. De snippers houden zeer goed en lang vocht vast en zijn zo perfect om te gebruiken in regenwoudterraria, vochtige schuilplaatsen en andere omgevingen waar de luchtvochtigheid constant hoog moet zijn. Natuurlijk is het ook mogelijk de snippers langer te laten drogen en ze in drogere terraria te gebruiken.
De kokossnippers van Trixie Reptiland zijn hittebehandeld en schimmelvrij en bovendien vrij van meststoffen. Natuurlijk, veilig en makkelijk in gebruik dus!
