Deze schaar heeft speciale afgeronde punten ter voorkoming van letsel, en is bovendien voorzien van een stelschroef voor de perfecte knipbeurt. Bovendien heeft de RVS schaar ook rubberen stoppertjes zodat de schaar geluidsarm gehanteerd kan worden, wat hem ook geschikt maakt voor nerveuzere honden.
