De van 22 watt 41,0 x 27,4 cm is een veilige warmtebron voor onder terraria voor reptielen zoals slangen, hagedissen en amfibieën. Warmte is onontbeerlijk voor reptielen en amfibieën. Deze dieren zijn ecotherm en dus van externe warmtebronnen afhankelijk om de lichaamstemperatuur te kunnen reguleren, zoals deze warmtemat van Komodo. De matten zijn gemaakt van stevig materiaal en zijn ook zeer geschikt als secundaire warmtebron, ook gedurende de nacht omdat zij geen licht afgeven. Ook is de warmtemat geschikt om een warme bos- of woestijngrond te creëren. Een Engelse en Nederlandse stekker worden meegeleverd. Let op: de warmtemat dient bij voorkeur in combinatie met een thermostaat gebruikt te worden, deze zijn apart te bestellen.
