Dit eekhoornhuis is zeer geschikt voor eekhoorns om in te leven en te slapen. Daarnaast kunnen ze het als nest gebruiken.
Het eekhoornverblijf is gemaakt van hoogwaardig vurenhout en gebruikt dik gezaagde stukken om meer isolatie en bescherming tegen de elementen te bieden, wat betekent dat eekhoorns knus en veilig zullen zijn. Het heeft 3 gaten van 7 cm in diameter voor gemakkelijke toegang voor eekhoorns. Het is belangrijk dat het eekhoornhuis ongeveer 3 of 4 meter van de grond en naast een tak wordt geplaatst, zodat een eekhoorn gemakkelijk kan ontsnappen in het geval van gevaar.
