De Controltech EXL Flat Bar is ontworpen met een stevig, unidirectioneel carbonontwerp dat extreme sterkte biedt bij minimaal gewicht. Met uitgelijnde vezels van unidirectioneel carbon is de lay-up zeer nauwkeurig, wat resulteert in enorme sterkte in kritieke richtingen. Met een gewicht van slechts 198 gram voor de 700 mm is deze stuurpen zeer licht maar toch sterk.
