Ze zijn ontworpen om foutloos te schakelen met 9 en 10 speed kettingen dankzij gewijzigde shift gates en speciale profielen. De middelste en buitenste kettingbladen hebben strategisch geplaatste roestvrijstalen pinnen voor verbeterd schakelen.
