Het is tevens een uitzonderlijk gezonde en smaakvolle toevoeging op de dagelijkse voeding. De zalmbonbon is rijk aan omega 3 en 6 vetzuren en ondersteunt huid, vacht, hart en bloedvaten. Schapenvet bevat ongeveer 58% verzadigde vetzuren en ongeveer 32% enkelvoudig onverzadigde vetzuren. Vet is een smaakmaker en belangrijk bij het transport van vitamine A, D, E en K in het lichaam.
